Volunteer with WeCan Society

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with WeCan Society. WeCan runs nine schools dedicated to providing quality education to marginalized communities. Our volunteering program is a meaningful way to contribute to social justice and educational equity while gaining valuable grassroots experience.

About the Volunteering Program

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in various areas based on your interests and skills, such as:

  • • Teaching and classroom assistance
  • • After-school and enrichment programs
  • • Event coordination
  • • Fundraising and donor outreach
  • • Administrative and operational support

You’ll work closely with our students, families, and team members, gaining insight into the day-to-day realities and opportunities in the education sector.

Duration

  • Minimum commitment: 4 weeks
  • No maximum duration – you’re welcome to stay as long as you wish to contribute

Who Can Volunteer?

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are:

  • • Passionate about education and social equity
  • • Passionate about education and social equity
  • • At least 18 years of age
  • • Free from any criminal record

While prior experience is appreciated, it is not mandatory. Some roles may require basic proficiency in English, depending on the assignment.
